This picture book has a meaningful message while inspiring thought and imagination. It encourages children to consider who they could be, and appreciate who they actually are.
Fully illustrated with colorful, exciting images Though written for young children, older kids and adults enjoy it as well. All of my work is to help others to love and care about themselves, which is often hard to do with the fighting and meanness we have had to put up with in life. "If I was not me, what else could I be?" In rhyme, the child "author" imagines being many other animals...but decides in the end "I like being me." This is a message everyone could hear over and over again until we finally get over any reasons not to love liking ourselves. --Dr. Margot Fass
