The first commandments with promise is about Elders but if these set of people we are to obey, respect and honour are now committing sin what must we do?

And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. Ecclesiastes 3:16.

There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place, ruler: I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. Ecclesiastes 10:5-7.

For example It is a great abomination to carry God ark with cow, it is the duty of a Levith but Elder Uzzah ignore Levith and replace them with cow in other to relegate them to zero
Because in Deuteronomy 10:8. Bible says At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. After this David have to correct the mistakes of the Elders, even thou it's painful it must be corrected before the blessings of God's presence manifests
1 chronicles 15:2, 26-27.
