If an Elder Sins

Elders are wonderful people to work with, but sometimes the most difficult to handle or deal with because they were older, wiser, more intelligent, conversant with history and loaded with many secret good and bad.
Elders were not resisted to the old people but anyone that occupies a leadership position in circular, ecclesiastics, spiritual, political, traditional, social and priesthood.
We have many categories;
tire but not retire vs. retire but still active
never succeed and believe success is not obtainable
fail and want everyone to fail;
because they are passing through now become a burden to all
Many suffer and vow that none will ever suffer like them.
we have many that grow old and not mature in the lord,

Genesis 20:12. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth the
The first commandments with promise is about Elders but if these set of people we are to obey, respect and honour are now committing sin what must we do?

And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. Ecclesiastes 3:16.

There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place, ruler: I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. Ecclesiastes 10:5-7.

For example It is a great abomination to carry God ark with cow, it is the duty of a Levith but Elder Uzzah ignore Levith and replace them with cow in other to relegate them to zero
Because in Deuteronomy 10:8. Bible says At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the Lord of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims. And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.
2Samuel 6:1-3
"And when they came to Nachon's threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God." 2Samuel 6:6-7

After this David have to correct the mistakes of the Elders, even thou it's painful it must be corrected before the blessings of God's presence manifests
1 chronicles 15:2, 26-27.
Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the Lord chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever...........
......And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams. And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen
