Idiomatic modality and extended techniques on siku, quena and charango

The purpose of this book is to analyze the projections that could have in contemporary music the idiomatic modality of three instruments from the South-Andean area corresponding to the northern part of Chile: the siku, the quena and the charango. As well as the application in them of extended techniques of execution. We will understand as "idiomatic modality" the modes of execution that are traditional in the aforementioned instruments. We will understand as "extended techniques" all those non-conventional performance resources that are used in instruments of the contemporary western tradition.
