"...Several books have been written about Weber carburetors, but this book dives deeper and is extremely comprehensive. It's a technical reference book that covers them from top to bottom, inside and out. If someone wants to learn how to tune Weber carburetors, this book is a great place to start. The principles of the IDF carburetor as described here can be applied to the IDAs as well.
The author starts by providing a brief history of Weber carburetors and he even explains what the letter designations mean for the various carburetors. I don't think that has ever been explained before. It was new information for me, even after working with Weber carburetors for 45 years. The depth of his research, as well as his knowledge and passion for the subject, are most impressive. After reading this book, it occurred to me that nothing needed to be added. He has included diagrams, exploded views, charts-you name it; it's all here. He's done a great job..."
