Gabriel Infante, a mystic who could walk on water, levitate in prayer, see the future, heal the sick, expel demons, and even raise the dead... among other things, was a Catholic priest for a decade, but God released him from his vow to serve him in that capacity. Now married to Theresa Reynolds, who also quit her life as a religious sister, and with two children to raise, he continues living his extraordinary life for the honor and glory of God. When a storm of epic proportions hit the Gulf Coast, it also marked a tempestuous time in the life of the Infante family. The Father of Lies, still bent on hurting the mystic, sent seven demons to siege his home and look for a way to make the mystic fall into temptation or cause him as much suffering as possible. They influenced all his family, even the children. Gabriel had to navigate through very turbulent waters, maintaining his chastity in the face of many beautiful temptations coming at him. He was under a sexual fasting forced upon him by having an entire extra family of five living under his roof. Since he was able to handle the situation well, the demons manipulated the circumstances in his life so that he had to kill two evil men in order to rescue a young couple of hostages. Theresa found herself dealing with the troubles of menopause at the same time she had to manage the entire demon-influenced family of her cousin living in her home. Under all that stress, she sought solace in learning golf. Her handsome younger instructor seduced her into adultery. The demons rejoiced, but later she found forgiveness and reconciliation with God and her husband. The couple suffered much; however, they overcame the sin. Although the Miracle Weaver, with the help of his parish pastor, was able to repel the demonic possession of his female business partner and cleanse the demonic infestation of his house, the seven evil spirits were replaced by a worse one, wanting to take a turn at defeating the mystic. Gabriel was then fired from his job as a teacher. His children were expelled from their school, and their home burned down to the ground as satanic retaliation. Now, unemployed and homeless, again, Gabriel moves back to his old barrio to stay with his godfather. While there, he must face the forces of evil once more, especially in the human form of a formidable character from his past who pushes the mystic to do something he had never done. During this perilous period, the identities of both, Gabriel and Theresa, are stolen and misused; thus, they end up in debt, ruined, and even in jail
