Harada Tangen Roshi (1924-2018) was considered one of the last great Zen masters of Japan. For more than 50 years, he opened his temple, Bukkokuji, to serious practitioners, including foreigners and women. Each day during the 7-day training periods, he would give teisho, or Dharma talks. These were recorded and translated by Belenda Attaway Yamagawa, who shared them in English the next night. This book contains 108 teisho beads, fragments of his longer talks that capture the spirit of his lifelong teaching and encouragement.
