My Father Bill McKeon loved to tell baseball stories. We grew up with him sitting around the table talking about baseball. He had a keen memory. He started to write a book before his death, but never finished it. I took all his so called manuscripts to make a book for future generations. There are repeat stories but I wanted to keep it like he was sitting at the table telling the stories, each time more things were added . He talk about growing up in South Amboy NJ playing baseball, looking up to his older brother Jack McKeon who later went on to win the World Series in 2003.. How my grandfather started the McKeon Boy's Club. He talks about playing baseball in the minors in the 1950's.. Baseball was in his blood. Everything revolved around baseball.
