I Wonder, I Wonder: poems written while growing up in twenty-first century America

The following works of writing were created over the span of almost fifteen years. For as long as I can remember, I have used written expression as a vessel to process what I was learning about myself and about the world around me. My inspiration for the subject matter to come ranges from politics to my job as a swim instructor to the beauty of the trees outside my house. The wonders-and horrors-of the planet we call home can be difficult to wrap your head around, and having this tool has brought me much peace.
