The Author loves Children and is very moved by their battle with various illnesses. This book is meant to help these children see that they are not alone in their battle. There are many who love them very dearly and want to see them grow up to be healthy adults.

The author started writing children's books as early as 6th grade when she wrote her first story as a class project. Many years later she picked up writing again after moving to Connecticut in 2009 and her neighbor encouraged her to continue writing and even illustrated the first children's book for her. The author enjoyed so much the experience of putting the first book together that she continued by having three more children's books published.
