Jesus Christ has given us opportunities to reject the forces that strike the Church; and when we have not done so, He comes to combat the evil ones with His Word. Although we are a Church of much love, we have not been able to correct or set limits on the sinful actions of some members of the Church. The Lord knows that our Catholic Church dies every day, even though we strive to appear otherwise. However, Christ will protect His Church in the hour of trial that will fall upon the entire world.
John, one of the apostles of the early Catholic Church, was taken by the Spirit to heaven where our Lord Jesus Christ was waiting for him to show him what has always existed there: the Kingdom of God. Standing before the heavenly Throne, John, the beloved of Christ, saw that God the Father has in His right hand (omnipotence) a scroll written on both sides; which contains the history of the jewish people and the history of all men (salvation). Through the eyes of the apostle John, we find ourselves in the heavenly scene of the resurrected Christ and his arrival before the Father. The apostle John was taken to Heaven to then tell us what his eyes saw: the resurrected Christ is the only one worthy of opening the seals of the book of the history of the world and the future of the humanity.
