"I Wanna Know What Love Is" Shadows the life of four friends as they struggle to date and find the right mate and the true meaning of love. Four different guys with four different personalities thought's on life, dating and women. Four men who have been completely influenced by their environment, surroundings, and the expectations of society on the male gender on how and what way they should perform and expect out of life and love. Most times these men have been guided by what they have seen from examples of other men possibly their fathers, uncles, brothers, and even friends. Clearly there is no agenda set for men, though often we are thought to be the bread winner, and head of the household. What actually does that mean? It is a known fact that a man learns to love and nurture from his mother. While in that role can we honestly say that we know what love is? Often as men we struggle to maintain that role often forgetting about our relationship, or it taking a back seat to becoming the bread winner. V'na the main character has struggled for years trying to find the meaning of love. He thinks that he has found it and begins sharing this information with his friends with whom he has watched over the years one failed relationship after another. He becomes the example that most of his friends have never seen. They share life experiences, relationships experiences all in an effort to sum this word love up. They share a lot of experiences throughout the book even something they never knew about a close friend. It is then they realize that love just doesn't limit itself to a relationship between two people but also the relationship we have with our friends.
