This is the story of my life, and how I traverses through the Canadian Foster care system since Toddlerhood. It is not an easy life, and nobody gets to choose it. The life of a foster child is merely thrust onto you, and the horrors, nightmares, and mental decimation that follow as a result, are just something we have to deal with, for the rest of our lives. No amount of therapy can fix us, no amount of love can make us better. We are the forever broken.
