Heaven is a great place, it's very beautiful, and a person's spirit can live forever. Then there are two different hells
One is a dark place ... HELL, it's a prison created by the almighty God. Before the flood, people used to live 1000 years, before they died here on earth. Therefore, it might mean the spirit within us outlives our body and may exist for up to 2000 years. Now here in this hell, it's where the spirits die. It is solitary confinement, and the thoughts in your mind will be with you, you cannot see, and you cannot move, until your spirit dies. Therefore, you'll have somewhere around 100 years on this earth, and the rest of the time, evil people will be locked in their solitary confinement. Don't worry about the evil people, this is where they will go. They will suffer here, for the evil they did on earth.
Then there is a hell for people, who don't want to go to heaven, or believe in heaven. This place was also created by the almighty God. But you can walk around, you can talk to other spirits, however, your spirit will die here.
The cosmos, when a spirit gets to look at it from heaven, it's a beautiful place, created by the God almighty, it is just outside heaven, for the people's spirits in heaven, to look at. This universe is an interesting place.
