I Really Want to See an Elephant: (A Playful Picture Book about Imagination, Creativity, and Perspective for Kids Ages 4-8)

By Brianne Farley

"Witty and engaging, a brilliant gem of a book." --Kirkus Reviews (starred review)

What you see in your mind's eye may start transforming the world around you in this playful follow-up to Ike's Invisible Ink for budding artists and creative thinkers.

Have you ever wanted to see something so badly that you see it everywhere? For one little mouse, it's a matter of seeing elephants--in the form of a sleepy cat, a shiny toaster, even an extra-large ice cream sundae with a cherry on top. There are so many things that look like elephants but aren't elephants at all. So the key is to keep looking, because who knows what might happen when you really see what you've been looking for? With sly wit, visual sleight of hand, and a fun final twist, Brianne Farley's take on the creative process will keep young readers looking--and looking again.
