Truly wonderful story.

Good things were in store for Christian, a young woman who had faced several obstacles before in her life. Christian lost her parents in a car wreck, that also traumatized her because she was also in the accident. Now, Christian was facing cancer in her own life. However, there were many good things in her life. She had a wonderful, loving grandmother and an uncle, as well as other family members and friends, Malcolm Williams, for one. But to Malcolm, Christian was more than a friend. Malcolm thought he was in love with Christian and wanted to marry her. Needless to say, Christian's feelings did not run deep enough for her to love Malcolm in that way -- to promise to be his wife. Before she can explain things to him, Christian unknowingly meets Malcolm's twin brother, Jordan. After mistakenly giving what she thought was a friendly parting kiss to Malcolm, sparks fly for Jordan and he is helplessly drawn to Christian. Things develop between them and although the developments in their lives are not easy, love is there and prevails. "I Promise" is a book about love, trust, and commitment. It is about being there no matter what comes along. It is also about the educational awareness of breast cancer in women. It can not only strike the old or middle age, but the young are vulnerable also.

Have you ever wanted something that you could never have? This is how Malcom Williams feels about Christian McKinley in I Promise. Malcom is a rich young man who is known by all the ladies as a player, but the one woman he is ready to settle down with only wants to be his friend. When Christian accidentally kisses Malcom's twin brother, Jordan, sparks fly. Not only is their tension between the brothers, but Jordan is sure he is in love with Christian. He is sure that she is in love with him too, but their is something mysterious holding Christian back from him. The story shows what true love really is. "His strong arms provide a sense of security, strength, and love. The word swirled inside her head." My sister recommended I Promise to me as the best romance book she has ever read. I decided to read it and this is a great book that is a pleasure to read because it has such an interesting plot and is written to keep you wondering until the end. If you read this book you won't want to put it down until you've discovered Christian's secret and find out if Jordan can find a place in her heart.

BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY

Adrianne Byrd has captured real-life issues, fear and love. Excellent writing, you won't want to put this book down. I can't wait to see what happens to Malcolm and Alex.

Another Winner

I absolutely love Ms. Byrd's work. I was so involved with this well written story--that shows that love truely conquers all. I recommend this one for all of you who wants a glimpse of the meaning of true love.

I enjoyed the story and the characters in this book. Jordon is honest and full of compassion for Chrissy's problem. He over looked her scar and saw a beautiful person. This is a very good book with issues concerning breast cancer.
