My life, to say the least, is an ordinary one. However, it has been deliberate, to a degree, that I have spoken so little of it before now. Perhaps not least of several reasons, is a fear that has been mine, that in relating some early experience it might be misunderstood by a child or young loved one of mine. In misunderstanding, they perhaps would be misdirected in their own lives. However, all my children are now mature and what I may have to say should have no influence on their lives.My memory goes back to a time more than eighty years ago.
