The adversary has been a topic of conversation for quite a while in Christian circles. However, the adversary is not what we've been taught. He doesn't as much exist outside of us as he does within us. He has breached our walls and set himself up as king, sitting on the throne of our heart. He is within the gates. So, while we go around searching for something outside of us to explain our anger, frustration, loss, and worry, he sits within us, unopposed in his dictatorship. The time has come to take the battle to the enemy instead of letting him direct our efforts from the throne of our heart. The time has come to directly confront the snake known as the False Self. The time has come to look the enemy right in the "I."
