The mysterious death of power agent Alma Astley just a week before the 2018 Oscars sets in motion this satirical insider tale of the shenanigans and cutthroat politics lurking beneath the glamour of Tinseltown. Celebrity stylist Belinda Grant was the last person to see Alma alive. Now, as she juggles the increasingly outrageous demands of her A-list clients competing for a top spot on the best dressed list, Belinda finds herself entangled in a police investigation and worse, the tabloids. As the week heats up, it becomes clear that Belinda isn't the only one who wants things kept out of the spotlight. Written by a real life Hollywood stylist, I Never Signed an NDA is a darkly funny, revealing look at the secrets and manipulations hidden beneath the world's most glamorous red carpet.
Fun mystery novel set among the behind the scenes of Hollywood most of us don’t think about when we watch the award shows/read magazines/discuss the red carpet. I loved the main character and the plotting was well-paced but full of good detail. It was a perfect read for a weekend spent mostly outside in the backyard hammock.
