I Miss God and Other Poems

The world is charged with the splendor of God, Hopkins wrote. The poems in this book celebrate God's presence in creation and in ourselves. I wrote most of them when I was a "none," meaning someone who didn't go to church. I was spiritual but not religious. I longed for a Christian Community, but I could not find one I could connect to. Finally, I did, a little more than 12 years ago. I hope other people who are "nones" and people who are members of religious communities understand and welcome what I have put into words.
