I Married A Monster From Outer Space

The bride wore terror! Something is definitely amiss with the menfolk in this classic 1950s sci-fi thriller. A distraught Marge Farrell (Gloria Talbott, "We're No Angels") is growing increasingly alarmed over the changes in her new husband Bill (Tom Tryon, "The Cardinal"), who's been acting strangely ever since their wedding night. And for good reason: Bill -- and most of the other men in their small town -- have been taken over by sinister aliens who have arrived on planet Earth to marry human women with the hope of reviving their dying race. Marge has stumbled onto their terrifying plan, and must now convince someone -- anyone -- to believe her ... before the aliens completely inhabit the bodies of the entire male population. Look out!

Andromeda needs women

Something seems strange about the old gang. They gave up alcohol and oxygen. And Bill Farrell (Tom Tryon) seems even stranger. Oh, it's his wedding night. Anyway, Marge Bradley Farrell (Gloria Talbott) is starting to suspect that something is afoot. Maybe more than the foot is being substituted. Why does Bill tell her that he is just learning how to love? Stay tuned for her shocking revelation and dilemma on "Who can you trust?" There is a little more psychological depth of thought that went into this movie. It is not just another “Earth Girls Are Easy” script. You may even find yourself rooting for the substitute. You may recognize the filming locations: (Picnic scene) Malibou Lake, Agoura, California, USA. (Clubhouse) Malibu Lake Mountain Club - 29033 Lake Vista Drive, Agoura Hills, California, USA. (exterior of Marge and Bill's home) 4946 Melrose Hill, Los Angeles, California, USA. Lake Sherwood, California, USA. Bronson Canyon, Griffith Park - 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles, California, USA. Bronson Canyon is one of my favorites, as they shot many good movies there. And the Griffith Park Observatory is a nifty place to visit.
