Drunken, emotionally and physically oppressive, the man, now her husband makes her question her faith and all she believes in. She is near to ending her life when she meets a stranger who helps her break away from the prison of her own marriage commitment and fear of her parents disapproval.

By now, due to husband's pressure Sami is an alcoholic, depressed and afraid of her life.

Gradually, through love and her faith she embarks on her new life.

This is a story not only of Sami, but all the young girls who travel from Africa every year in search of a new life. Spurred on by dating sites that specialise in Inter-racial Dating, who promise wonderful men, they make the journey mostly to find liars, alcoholics and bullies who believe their colour allows them to enslave the girls who become too afraid to leave home for fear.
