I began writing after a spiritual awakening at the age of twenty-four. Since that time, I have been on a journey of seeking knowledge and wanting to understand this human experience through my interactions and observations. I decided to consolidate my understanding into concepts that depict what I have learned through my years of truth-seeking and absorbing wisdom. I have found to be true, that our desire to be accepted and loved in society no matter what lifestyle or social class we come from underpins our sense of belonging. Prejudices imposed upon us by our forebearers and ancestors or by unhealthy outdated societal beliefs can be detrimental to our mental health and wellbeing. This acceptance starts within our immediate familial and social networks. We are all spiritual beings having a human experience and are ALL one. Love and acceptance of who we are, irrespective of our biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression, go a long way towards strengthening our sense of self and creating a feeling of belonging in society.
