The story tells of how Amoleka and his family in Laie, Hawaii, experienced in early 2026, a big flood on his side of the island that left their home in ruins. Their home and many other homes were damaged, and through the hardships of having to move around a few times to friends' homes, his family stayed together, worked together, cleaned up after the floods, and even had time to help their neighbours. Amoleka was left with a thankful heart during these hard times and tells the story of how much more he loved his family after the Hawaii floods.
