Unia Juma is a secondary Teacher. She is passionate about encouraging and empowering young children to love themselves just as they were created. She believes in the importance of representation and has taken an active role to positively represent African children in literature in fun and engaging stories.
She hopes these positive affirmation stories will instil in children values to help them develop confidence, self-esteem, acceptance, and self love.
Representation matters and when children see themselves represented in uplifting narratives, they will be inspired to become greater leaders of tomorrow.
