The story begins with the battle of World War II in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The pilot is a commander of a squadron of top Gun pilots and he is shot down and lands in the freezing waters of Hawaii and is rescued by the coast guard and ends up in the hospital with a coma. They both meet when he wakes up and they look at one another and begin a relationship. An action-packed war story. 14+ age group although for all adults.
