Honorable dramatization of a phenomenal book with a super talented cast!

I was very excited to see this much-loved masterpiece of a book brought to life- and I was not disappointed!
Mark Ruffalo shines as he portrays two very different identical twins on an emotional roller coaster ride through life.
I was also pleasantly surprised at some other cast selections: Juliette Lewis and Rosie O'Donnell were perfect!
I felt the series did the book justice by including key characters and events, and leaving out some that could be considered inconsequential.
The scenes are shot in magical perspectives and angles, amplifying the drama and emotion and immersing you in the story.
The story is raw and emotional, and may have scenes that are not for everyone- although even the most horrific are shown in a non-gratuitous, tasteful fashion.
Whether you have read the book or not (but please do!) and want to take this poignant journey with the Birdsey twins- I highly recommend this series.
