Great Gift

The quirky and fun poems made me laugh out loud. Each so different from another, their creativity was delightful. It will be a pleasure to give this book for birthday presents to the little ones on my list.

Creatures, kids and imagination under one cover!

This a delightful book full of fun and humor. The authors make their ideas come alive and dance in my mind. The illustrator creates visions that truly do make me laugh out loud. My grandchildren love the fleas, the octopus, the centipede, the porcupine, the head, the tickle, the sandwich and the bath! This a "must" for children of all ages!

These Poems are Funny!

The subtitle -- Poems to Make You Laugh Out Loud -- says it all. These poems are funny! Much of the humor comes from food. We meet dining dragons, "Detestable Vegetables" and a kid who makes his lunch while doing gymnastics. Some of the giggles are accompanied by shivers, as in the delightfully spooky "The Attic." The humor is quite sophisticated in "Thoughts I was Thinking While Drinking My Juice," which explores the quirky way the English language works. This book offers laughter on every page for kids and the grownups who read to them!
