The fourth book in the series continues the journey of Captain Magnusson and his companions toward the end of the solar system, as the darkness at the galaxy's rim becomes larger, spreading its influence across countless solar systems and planets. Unfortunately for Captain Magnusson, he is targeted by the darkness and thrust into a netherworld where he encounters symbolic representations of death and Mephistopheles. The Captain escapes from the dark dimension, but not without severe consequences. Towards the end of the solar system, the fleet encounters a mysterious ghost planet with unusual properties, a paradox in space. To say this planet is a mystery would be an understatement. The book also raises questions about human nature, the difference between the intellect and the will, and the need to be careful of what you wish for, as sometimes you may receive it and the unforeseen consequences attached to your wish. Two final thoughts: Do aliens exist within the invisible spectrum of light? Just because we can't see them doesn't mean they are not there. After all, humans perceive about 0.0035 percent of the light spectrum. And what if planets exist within multi-dimensional realities? It kind of makes you think. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Vito Veii
