the truth

The truth is that the Catholic Church has always had enemies trying to change its teachings to fit they're agenda. This book enlightens the reader on the same tactics used today by those who would want the church not to be Catholic. A must read for any catholic who cares to defend the faith, our priests and the Mystical Bride of Christ.

WOW

No force has been so "rocking" for the Church of Christ in the last few hundred years as the scandals which the Church has been facing since it has exploded onto the media scene in 2001 and following. Not only has it given the people who had one foot outside of Rome's door a reason to "justly" and "angrily" march out for the last time, at least in intention, but it also gave the faithful a reason to doubt a little. This doubt may not have been deep enough that it touched on dogmatic and faith issues, for such would incur the penalty of mortal sin to doubt the faith, but doubt the human aspects of the Church. Even in the pinnacle of my apologetics "rigorism" of black and whites, I was silenced and/or worse, wimpped out when I was faced with questions of pedophile priests and the cover-ups by some, and I emphasize some, demonic prelates. No more will I have to cower in response to the enemies of the Church, within or without, for we have a study, a compendium of facts which brings to light the true face of this scandal. The fact of the matter is as was found in the John Jay Study (after this book was published), this crisis is not a pedophiliac crisis; it is a homosexual crisis. That's not to degrade the occurrences of true pedophilia in the priesthood, for it still has a 3% occurrence rate. However, this is less than the national rate (6%), a population which has no vow of celibacy. There goes the "married priest" panacea that some hoped for. That is not the cure (although we welcome our new married clergy-converts from Anglicanism). That is what feminist-liberal-homosexual activist groups want Catholics to think, so they can get rid of hierarchy in the Church, the all-male priesthood, the celibacy rule, and promote the gay-marriage agenda. Those issues go together like peanut-butter and jelly (and bread if its pay-day). What I have found with the TFP (American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property) is that they are able to concisely cut to the core of the roots of the problems in the Church, and identify the ideological, spiritual, theological, social, etc. flaws which have brought us to the current crises, and offers plausible solutions. Nothing radical. It all comes back to the Scriptures, Tradition, and the teachings of Holy Church. The second half of the book discusses the progressive agendas being proposed following the media explosion of this crisis. The liberals have seen this to be their chance to make a change in the Church, while the average Catholic is still reeling from the shock and anger, and they have gone all out to try to affect public opinion. If we let them, they will take this Church down to the pits of the abyss, if they have their way. But no, we have our Lord's promise that the Gates of Hell shall never prevail! And if you want to know how, we as baptized Catholics, can recognize the bacteria which we have let fester for some time now, and kill that revolutionary spirit before it rears
