It's about time we opened our eyes to the hatred and cruelty surrounding black women...
Sometimes we truly believe that ignorance is bliss. I mean, if we don't talk about or focus on it, we might not feel the pinch of what is going around us. If we don't point out what's happening to black women, maybe everything might stop and get better.
But will it really?
Even if we ignore it, does it change the fact that black women are despised even by their own men?
Just peep a look at shows such as Jerry Springer, Maury, and Manosphere channels on YouTube, which openly speak about hatred towards black women. Educate yourself on how black female founders get basically zero in venture capital. Think about the statistics showing that an average of 4 black women are killed every single day!
We may lie to ourselves that nothing is really going on until it happens to us or someone we love dearly. But this shouldn't happen, and the best way to prevent this is by opening your eyes to the reality of things - and this is precisely what this book aims to do.
