Clay sat on the edge of his bed; he was as white as a ghost. He was thinking about the decision he had to make. Do I go inside the Hutton mansion? Today is an unlucky date, Friday the 13th; I think there is a law somewhere in the world that says decisions should never be made on a Friday the 13th. This is my birthday and instead of celebrating it, I have to decide what to do. I have to make a decision that will affect my life forever. If I go inside the Hutton Manor, I might never return or even worse, die. What is inside that haunted house and why do people get lost in it? What if I spend the rest of my life living with ghosts, mummies, and monsters? Will I become one of them? If I do not go inside then I will be identified as a coward. How can I go to school every day and be made fun of.?Now, if I go inside the Hutton Manor, what could really happen? Ghosts and monsters are not real. I do not have to stay inside very long. Like I could just step inside and look around. Just two minutes and walk back outside. What could really happen?
