I don't want to leave.
But I wrote this from the place where someone knows they will.

This book follows the voice of a young woman as she faces a terminal diagnosis and reflects on her relationships-with her mother, her father, and the person she loves. These poems are scattered fragments of memory, sharp truths, and imagined futures that will never arrive.

There is no lesson here. No perfect closure. Just the attempt to hold on-to something, to someone, to anything-before it all slips away.
