I Decided
My journey of giving up control and getting him back.
This book is the story of my heart-of a love that almost slipped through my fingers, a love I nearly lost because I didn't know how to let go. It's written in poetry, raw and vulnerable, revealing the depths of a truth I was too blind to see for so long. As women, we often unknowingly try to shape our partners, molding them into who we think they should be. And in doing so, we slowly suffocate them-piece by piece-until they begin to fade away, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and sometimes even physically.
These pages are my confession. They are the tears I've shed, the lessons I've learned, and the pain of realizing that love cannot thrive in the suffocating grip of control. The truth I discovered is simple, yet so hard to accept: sometimes, the only way to heal a relationship is to let go. In those moments of surrender, when I stopped holding on so tightly, something miraculous unfolded. In just 30 days, everything started to shift. He began to feel safe again. He began to see me, truly see me, without the weight of my expectations. And in return, I saw him-for who he truly was, not who I wanted him to be.
This book is a love letter to that transformation-to the realization that when we let go of control, we create the space for love to breathe and grow. In that space, the masculine and feminine energies, when allowed to exist freely, can create a bond stronger than anything we could force.
This is my story-of learning the hardest lesson of all: that love isn't about holding on. It's about letting go, trusting, and in doing so, discovering a love deeper than I ever imagined. This is my decision-to stop trying to control and embrace him the way he is.
