The narrative immerses us in the fear, the harrowing scenes experienced by those people, their yearning to return to Prussia, and, above all, their resilience in overcoming each adversity they faced, constantly seeking solutions and rebuilding their lives in every situation.

Mar a is a little girl not yet five years old, who constantly contrasts her childlike perspective with the experiences shared by the adults traveling with her aimlessly amid this wartime setting. Her only dream is to return home because she has forgotten her blue paintbrush.
