There was a time in my life when I couldn't speak my feelings out loud.
The words were too heavy, the moments never felt right, and so I kept everything inside. Instead, I wrote them quietly on paper and hid them away in a drawer - never sure if anyone would ever read them.
"I Can Love You from Afar" grew out of those secret words.
It is a collection of poems about love that stayed unspoken, about distance that kept hearts apart, and about the ache of longing that lingers long after silence.
This book is for anyone who has ever:
loved from afar and had to hide it in silence,
carried heartbreak that had no voice,
searched for comfort in words when the heart was too heavy to speak.
These poems move between love and grief, sadness and hope, distance and closeness. They are simple, honest pieces - written in the quiet, but carrying the weight of everything that could not be said.
Let these words sit with you the way they once sat with me - as a reminder that even love unspoken can still leave light behind.
