Destiny and Essence Campbell are twin sisters and seniors at Andrew Jensen High School in New Orleans. Even though they are identical twins, they couldn't be more different. Destiny is your typical straight-A student, valedictorian of her class, shy, quiet and usually stays to herself, with the exception of her best friend, Jataria. Essence is the exact opposite of Destiny; she's outgoing, more worried about her appearance than she is her grades and she's dating Devon, captain of the basketball team and the most popular boy in school.
