I truly believe I Can Hear God is one of the most enlightening books that I have ever written. As you read the chapters, you will notice that a Bible verse follows most of my claims. I've done this intentionally because I want believers to see that it is the will of God for them to know His voice. He wants us to know His voice rather than constantly guessing if He is saying something to us or not. We are the sheep of His pasture, which means, He intends to lead our lives by His voice. In the first chapter of this book, I help the reader understand what God is saying to us under the new covenant. The Lord is so good that it's almost unbelievable sometimes when you hear the promises that He makes to us. I affirm the believer that God wants to talk with them on a regular basis Himself rather than communicating with them through someone else. I expose the risk of depending on others to interpret what God is saying to them in their personal life. I believe the quality of life for every Christian is based on their ability to hear the voice of God and obey it. Therefore, in Chapter 5, I expound on different barriers that could keep us from hearing the Father's voice. When someone is not hearing the voice of God, it is a detriment to every aspect of their lives; however, this kind of predicament is avoidable. Therefore, I share words of wisdom with the reader on how to remain sensitive to His voice. I want every Christian to experience the abundant life that Jesus Christ came to give us and hearing and following His voice is the way to attain it.
