This is, without doubt, one of the best and most balanced works on the Holy Spirit I have read. The author traces the person and work of the Spirit from Old Testament to New. Of particular interest is his balanced treatment of the fullness of Spirit-given gifts and giftedness within the framework of apostolic history and sacramental theology. The read is scholarly yet is written to be easily comprehended. I highly recommend this work. Dr. T. Merrill, D.Min, MFC
Facets of The Holy Spirit

This is a great book on the Holy Spirit because it covers so much of the different roles, gifts, and its history. Many Christians have heard about the Holy Spirit but do not understand a great deal about Him. Usually, we carry great misunderstanding about Him and allow those misconceptions to rule our perspective of the Holy Spirit. Green does an in depth and thorough job of introducing us to the third in the Godhead.
