I Believe I Was The Moon is a poetry book that tells the heart and soul of my life, as an African American Male who has a dream, but is trying to sway the tides of his life to his benefit. I was given different paths that I had taken in my life. Some were longer than others, but without me being on these paths I would have never pictured life as I see it. Being raised in Dallas Tx or what it is famously locally known as "Tripple D". I have noticed life has different stories, but see similar things. Everyone gives out what they want to receive. But only gets it in what their reality is to be. If you want to see change don't look at what you do on a everyday page. Look at what you know and start there for change. Every poem is alive and breathes. Telling lives that is not so different as you believe. I Believe I Was the Moon. have light, but yet still in a dark life. Stilling trying to find his daylight.
