This is a book about soul. The content is a result of soul seeking both expression and satisfaction. Soul, the mysterious, invisible and restless companion of the human condition. What does soul want? Soul wants to become visible, known, felt, experienced and expressed. Soul seems to have a specific agenda. It wants this and not that. It can sometimes feel as if soul will use any means and opportunity to express itself. This book is also about both perspective and meaning. What is visible through my perspective and what is invisible to my perspective? Much like soul, meaning can feel as if it is invisible, out of reach and out of sight. Are soul and meaning inherently invisible? Or is it my perspective, my way into and through life, which renders invisible what has always been available and with me all the time? The motivation for this book is that various parts of my soul were seeking to become visible, known, felt, experienced and expressed. Here I will repeat the working image for soul which will be used throughout the book. Soul is the mysterious, invisible and restless companion of the human condition. Contained within any personal experience is a common human collective experience. This book has been written with this conviction: what has been helpful and meaningful for me and my soul may also be helpful and meaningful for you and your soul.
