I am my hair is a children's book that will teach kids it's ok to love their hair. There's a reference to God. It has a few hairstyles that are worn. It teaches children why they should love their hair. It should inspire kids to want to be natural or it's ok to love your natural hair. It shows the love of natural hair in the African American community. I believe it teaches about loving your culture. It teaches children that they are beautiful the way they were created. It can identify with self-awareness. It identifies with loving yourself because you're natural.
