All the feelings

I feel like Malala’s story is so well known, and almost mythological—legendary!—, that we forget that Malala is, in fact, still a young lady. She was just a child when she stood up and delivered speeches calling for education rights. This was such an incredible reminder of her as the person that she is. Loved getting to know her voice and personality. Her courage, and the courage of her family, is absolutely breathtaking. This is a read that has left me truly inspired to be more, be better, help however I am able, and made me reflect on the opportunities afforded by education. I can’t recommend this book enough.

Touching!

I feel like most people know about Malala and what her story is by now, but this book helped bring into light how kind hearted she is, and what her life was like before being shot. It was a very quick but enjoyable read.

I’m Malala
