Great book for war action but

The book is great for older teenagers and adults who are interested in the World War II history and Italy. I was interested because my husband’s grandfather was stationed in Italy during WWII and was decorated for destroying a Germany Sniper Nest. It is an area of WoThe only disappointment to me is the writer leaves you hanging at the end. He took the time to build a budding romance but no Epilogue. The storyline just stops dead in its tracks. I would have given it five stars if not for that! It is a great book especially for anyone who is interested in what people have to go through during war. Also it is good for those who think war is glorious when in fact it is horrific for the men, women, and children who go through it. You do have to realize that without brave men and women though we would not be free.
