Since birth, I have allowed others to define me. My ancestors have been defined by others as Niggers, Negroes, Colored People, Black people, and now African Americans. After researching, discovering, and understanding my ancestry beyond the borders of the United States of America, I no longer accept how others define me. I define me. This book (my twelfth book) reveals who I know that I am. I am African! I was born in America. I have two homes. My personal conviction is supported by exploration, historical research, DNA testing of my own blood, and Spirit. I am connecting with my African ancestral lineage, culture, and traditions. This book provides 400 pages of conversations and actual experiences with my African Kinship as I lived with them in their homes and engaged in activities with them on a daily basis. It provides approximately 100 colored photos of people and places that I visited in Ghana. These are real life stories in the homes, churches, schools, and social gatherings with real people in Ghana. We share the same common ancestry. This is the real me and I share me with you in this book. The first five chapters describe all of the pre-planning that made this second missionary journey to Ghana possible. The sixth chapter describes my trip from the USA to Ghana. The seventh through the fifteenth chapters describe my actual experiences in Ghana with my eight hosts and their direct and extended families. These chapters describe side meetings that I had with many Ghanaians that I did not live with. The sixteenth and seventeenth chapters describe my church and eating experiences in Ghana. The eighteenth chapter describes my return trip from Ghana back to the USA. The nineteenth chapter describes what it was like being back in the USA. The twentieth chapter describes the lessons that I learned while living in Ghana. The twenty-first and final chapter describe how I see my expanded and enhanced future. This book changed my life forever for the better. It put closure on the injustice that was done to my ancestors doing the trans-Atlantic slave trade that separated my people from the two sides of the Atlantic Ocean. This second missionary journey helped to bring the descendants our common ancestry back together again. I have chosen to make Ghana my new home.
