I-57 South; The Journey Home is a love story. It is the love story at the end of the marriage vow "until death do us part" The mature love of two adults who have lived a life so intertwined the idea of one without the other is almost impossible to conceive. We find Frank, dealing with his emotions as an older, strong African American family man who has worked and raised his family with his wife for so long, that the idea of losing her takes him to the brink of irrational hope; hoping to hold on to forever. In the midst of the emotional hurricane that is happening in him, Frank is making final life decisions. We see a love affair reach it's maturity and an emotional "until death do them part".
