Hymnody, Hilarity and Versery

This is a book in 3 categories: (1)Hymnody are some hymns which I have written - the current hymns being written are very weak in religious knowledge in its verbal expression. Faith is a matter of remembering stories and texts as they appeal to the senses. I remember the Charles Wesley hymns and not too much of the sermons. (2)Hilarity are limericks - being able to play around with the idea of how we might talk about our foibles and downsides without diminishing our standing as mutual citizens of an erstwhile great, but not now so great a nation. (3) Versery - I have always loved poetry - to me it is visionary and spiritual. It is a language of its own in a world of its own. A single poem can generate as much light as a book of the Bible. How grand is Keats notion that: "Truth is beauty: beauty truth. That is all you know and all you need to know."
