As a food factory, a plant should have an endless supply of high-quality raw materials for it to continue producing new stem, leaf, flowers, and fruit, which we see as growth. If the required raw materials or natural resources run out, it will affect or even interrupt the entire manufacturing process. GIGO And just as a human appetite changes as you grow, so does that of plants, which complicate matters further.
