About the Author
Paul Swords is a lifelong carpenter who has worked across the UK before settling in North Wales. A native of Stockport, Paul has spent decades crafting both wood and words. A former boxer trained by Thai boxing masters, he drew inspiration from that world of discipline and endurance to create Zico, the formidable Thai warrior featured in HURN. HURN marks his debut novel, a reflection of his fascination with working-class resilience, the industrial past, and the thin line between man and monster. When he's not writing, he can usually be found building something real, somewhere quiet, with a cup of strong tea in reach.
