Most influential book after the Bible for me

I would genuinely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a serious challenge in their faith. I read this book after being a Christian for over 10 years, and it opened up my eyes to parts of Scripture that I had never seen before. The mark of any and every Christian should be that of humility, because it's after Christ's life that we should model our behavior. Philippians 2:5-11 speaks beautifully of the humility of Christ, who went from being in very nature God, to human, to servant, to taking the criminal death on a cross. This ultimate act of humility was the cause for God to then exalt Him. This too, should be our model. The more we humble ourselves, the more God is able to glorify Himself through us. As John says, "I must decrease. He must increase." I pray that God use this book to draw you into deeper humility and more powerful and effective ministering for His Kingdom.

Wonderful Book

There are many great insights in this book, which will help a Christian understand humility and giving your life to God. It is worth reading again and again.

Heaven is better

This is one of the best books I've ever read, but it is necessary to read it slowly and carefully. A quick read will not do. A successful Christian walk depends upon the principles outlined here. I bought more and sent them to people I felt would benefit from the challenges presented in the book.

An Awakening For Eternity

Other than the Holy Bible itself, and whether you are a new Christian or a Christian who has been seeking greater knowledge of God for a long time, nowhere will you find a more spiritual awakening and understanding of what God requires of you to fully enjoy His presence than Andrew Murray's "Humility & Absolute Surrender". Buy all of these you can and give to those who will read them. A true Christian will be truly grateful.
