Reasonable, well-rounded and Biblical

This book almost has the feel of an apologetics work because the Pyne's knowledge of and sensitivity towards secular science, philosophy and ethics. However, it is solidly evangelical. I highly recommend it--Pyne has the ability to keep a calm mind in the midst of the storm of pop-culture theology, particularly the abundance of exchanged life works. Pyne's scripture keeps pace with modernity while remaining true to its original context and meaning.

A well written, biblical and intriguing look at who we are.

"Humanity & Sin" deals well with the theological issues of anthropology and harmartiology while remaining very personal and interesting. If you have ever wondered about issues like cloning and Christianity, what it means to be made in the image of God (perhaps the most intriguing chapter of the book), or nature verses nurture from a biblical perspective, then you will find this book insightful and interesting.
